I reviewed The Mel Robbins Podcast
One of the biggest podcasts in the world, The Mel Robbins Podcast, recently had an episode called “The Body Reset: How Women Should Eat & Exercise for Health, Fat Loss, & Energy” with Dr. Stacy Sims.
I was sent this episode by several clients and followers asking for my thoughts on it.
After listening to the first 40 minutes or so, I found myself wanting to clarify multiple things in real time.
So that’s what I decided to do.
I recorded a podcast where I played the original without cuts or edits so as to not take things out of context, paused it where I felt appropriate, and gave my thoughts and clarified some things that were either confusing, too complicated, oversimplified, or plain wrong. I also underlined the things said that were correct, helpful, and actionable.
As the original podcast was 90 minutes long, I did not get through all of it in a single episode of my own (that would’ve taken hours), but part 1 is live now and you can listen here.
If you’re a woman (or know women who) consumes any sort of media on fitness & nutrition (p.s. if you’re reading this, this includes you), then this is worth listening to.
The logistics are a bit clunky at the beginning, but the value is off-the-charts.
I’m proud of how it turned out and we’ve already recorded part 2 (coming out in two weeks).
Give it a listen or, if you want to see my facial expressions, you can watch it here.
To your health,
Jeff
